Accessibility Statement

Conformance to W3C WAI WCAG1.0 Level AAA.

This means that this site is built to the standards required by the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative(WAI) on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and has a Conformance Level AAA. This is the highest level currently available.

Put simply, the site complies as closely as possible to the W3Cs Priority 1,2 and 3 guidelines in order to benefit users with disabilities or people accessing the site with unusual software or hardware configurations.

These guidelines include:

  • Using an easy to read typeface which users can resize.
  • Ensuring suitable foreground and background colour contrast.
  • Using clear and simple grammar.
  • Providing meaningful text equivalents for pictures.
